Serving Central Virginia
About TJPDC
Regional vision, collaborative leadership, professional service. Working across local boundaries to build a stronger region.
Six localities, shared opportunities
The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission serves the City of Charlottesville and the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson.
TJPDC helps local governments and partners plan together and deliver programs in transportation, community development, housing and the environment.
Collaboration in action
Regional planning brings different perspectives together. Public meetings, clear information and opportunities for participation help communities stay connected to the decisions that affect them.
